• PM launches two web portals — e-Gram Swaraj & Swamitva Yojana — for faster development of villages. The e-Gram Swaraj app will provide panchayats a single interface to complete development projects. • An e-office application called ‘e-karyalay’ launched in CISF to enable the movement of files and documents without physical touch.
• National Book Trust, India, and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) have organized a WEBINAR on Post-COVID Publishing Scenario in New Delhi.
• Odisha govt launches portal ‘covid19.odisha.gov.in’ for registration of migrant workers who are expected to return to the state after lifting of the lockdown on May 3.
• At 309 million, US President Donald Trump dominates the rankings for world leaders with most interactions on Facebook in the past 12 months: BCW (Burson Cohn & Wolfe).
• China names its first Mars exploration mission to be launched later in 2020 as Tianwen-1.
